A. Weiner Is You At Drinking Games

Alan Grayson may be gone, but Rep. Anthony Weiner is still around and entirely unafraid to call out the House GOP.

During the House debate on repeal of health care reform today, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) reprised his famous (or infamous) rant against Republicans: "You know, I want to just advise people watching at home playing that now popular drinking game of 'you take a shot whenever Republicans say something that's not true.' Please assign a designated driver. This is going to be a long afternoon."

A. Weiner and still champion indeed.  He's done enough of these to earn his own tag, methinks.

  1. I actually think he's better than Grayson -- his snark has a sharper edge.

  2. Too bad Weiner's comments will be completely overshadowed by Cohen's complete lack of civility.

And Cohen compounded his sin on CNN yesterday.

So like I said, when will you call for his resignation, or are you an anti-Semite on top of being a racist, lying scumbag?

  4. Speaking of lies, the written text of Obamacare calls the mandate a penalty for Commerce Clause purposes, and not a tax. Democrats didn't want to appear to be raising taxes on everyone. But in every Obamacare court case, the administration has argued that the mandate is a tax under the Taxation Clause, and not a penalty, in case it doesn't appear to pass muster under the Commerce Clause.

Republicans should be the ones telling people to drink up and get a designated driver every time a Weiner opens up his big, fat, lying mouth.

  5. I love Anthony Weiner! He's smart, and doesn't take any shit. Fell in love with the guy after seeing him on Daily Show, and I'm glad he's getting a lot of face time now. You can tell he's effective, too, judging by how jealous the right wingers are of him. They're pissing their pants wondering how to shut him up, aren't they?

  6. It's funny, because Republicans have their own honest-to-God SS uniform-wearing Nazi sitting right there on the floor of the House, putting Steve Cohen at literal risk of extermination every day while carrying out the peoples' business. I salute Steve Cohen's bravery in the face of this monstrous obscenity that John Boehner purposely unleashed upon our democracy.

  7. LOL Or would have, had Rich Iott won. Fortunately, the Allies, headed by Marcy Kaptur, were able to turn away the Nazis at the ballot box, in spite of Boehner endorsing and campaigning for the mass-murdering Jew exterminator.

But will goodness always triumph over evil, or will Boehner ultimately pack the House with goose-stepping brownshirts stiff-arm saluting him while shouting "Heil Boehner!"? Only time will tell.

As for me, I look forward to the thrilling finale when they open the sealed container containing the Constititution, and it melts Michele Bachmann's face off.
