A prominent Tea Party leader from Texas is warning that the movement "is becoming nothing more than a wholly owned subsidiary of the Republican Party," and slamming Sarah Palin as representing "a growing insider's attack to the heart of the Tea Party."Yes. Excellent. Fight for your master. He desires...entertainment.
Dale Robertson, the founder of TeaParty.org, is just the latest Tea Partier to express concern that the movement is being hijacked by the GOP.
In a lengthy statement -- entitled "Warning: Tea Party In Danger" -- posted yesterday on the TeaParty.org homepage, Robertson instructs his felllow Tea Partiers to "[b]e alert to turncoats and deceivers being herded into the Tea Party by usurpers from the weakened Republican Party for the sole purpose of capturing our populist movement."
Look folks, the Teabaggers aren't real happy with the GOP either. They actually figured out Bush and his GOP buddies expanded the government by trillions. They don't trust the GOP to fix our problems either. They're not happy about these corporate stooges trying to claim their freedom, or whatever.
This is going to get good here.
It doesn't matter whether the teabaggers are unhappy with the GOP, because ...
ReplyDeletea) They are "born again" republicans trying to suggest that they weren't to blame for the last 8 years, even though they cheered the republicans every step of the way.
b) Their sole cause is the same as the republicans - against whatever the democrats propose. Asked about any proposal, their solutions are tax cuts for the rich and reduced government programs (except for defense spending and wars, and creating a fundamentalist christian theocratic state).
c) They will ABSOLUTELY vote republican if there isn't a teabagger candidate.
Oh I know. The enemy of my enemy is still pretty goddamn crazy and wants to impose his version of America upon everyone.
ReplyDeleteIt's still amusing to watch them fight.
