House GOP to resume health-care repeal effort, but with more civil tone
The key paragraph:
The first debate has been about the name of the Republican bill: "Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act." Some Democrats want to take "killing" out of the title in deference to the Tucson victims, but Republicans have declined to change the name.
What we have here is a failure to communicate, I guess.
Ya see what they did there? They put the lie right in the name of the bill! Very clever, as there is no way that someone would be blatant enough to put a bald-faced lie right in the NAME of the bill, right?
ReplyDeleteIf we can't believe the CBO, then who do we trust? Stagnant wages and minimal opportunities must be a feature of the new economy. Sorry for questioning our overlords.
It makes perfect sense, it's GOOD that CEO wages have increased from 50 times the average employee salary to over 200 times over the average. They need the extra money in order to encircle their moral high ground with moats and barbed wire.
Some Democrats want to take "killing" out of the title in deference to the Tucson victims, but Republicans have declined to change the name.
ReplyDeleteGood for the GOP. More please. Those like you have no business defining the rules of civility when you exhibit no civility and won't hold to those rules anyway. And just so we're clear, I'm not referring to House Democrats (except for the true-blue lefties), who for the most part will bark and squeal and make some noise but in the end not say much of anything about it; I mean you and those like you.
