ReplyDeleteThe judge may be technically correct, but isn't his ruling akin to standing on the seashore and demanding that the tide not come in? If Detroit's bankrupt, it's bankrupt.
The legal arguments I've seen basically say that a declaration of bankruptcy pretty much eliminates any standing legal fights, and that the judge's injunction is wildly unusual.
