- Miami-Dade police have arrested a man who opened fire in the lobby of Trump's Doral Golf Club early this morning, officers shot the suspect and detained him, no other casualties reported.
- Michael Jackson will have a street named after him in Detroit as Motown will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Jackson 5's start next month.
- China is denying rumors of a $200 billion concession to cut the country's trade deficit with the US, but Beijing has ended its investigation into the US's $1.1 billion sorghum trade.
- US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer says that the US, Mexico, and Canada are "nowhere close" to a new NAFTA deal as House Republicans are warning of a May 31st deadline.
- North Korea apparently created and spread Android malware apps in order to steal defectors' personal data, the defectors were targeted for the apps over Facebook and other social media.
