- Marine researchers have found the lost French naval submarine Minerve, which disappeared more than 50 years ago off the French Mediterranean coast with 52 hands aboard.

- Venezuela's Information Minister is blaming saboteurs for a nationwide power blackout on Monday, the government says an "electromagnetic attack" has crippled the power grid.
- Legendary NASA flight director and engineer Chris Kraft has passed away at age 95, Kraft was NASA's first flight director and ran the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions.
