Zandar's Thought Of The Day

Michael Vick, NFL quarterback, served prison time for contributing to exploitation of dogs, came back to the game, still largely hated by people.  This is justice, as an uppity sports person found out he was not above the law.

Ben Roethlisberger, NFL quarterback, no charges filed for contributing to the exploitation of a human being, still in the game, largely loved by people.  This is also justice, as a beloved role model and community figure escaped harm from those trying to attack him for his fame.

Somebody explain this to me.

  1. Sadly, the explanation is all too, er, visible.

Plus, people are outraged at violence done to animals. Violence against women? Meh, not so much.

  2. Quite simple.

Michael Vick is black, which you know are criminals. He abuses dogs, which everyone likes.

Ben Roethlisberger is white, which you know can do know wrong. He abuses women, which everyone hates.

    QED.

  3. I'm not the biggest fan of Ben but lets face it you're stretching here. Definitive proof plus witness accounts vs. what? DA's know full well they better have a case if they're going to go after someone who obviously has the money to well defend themselves. I fully believe if they had a case they would go after him just for the notoriety of putting Big Ben away.

This is standard garbage from the left, everything HAS to be about race. It's actually old, I'm beginning to think there's more race baiting than there is actual race issues...
