If Republicans are doing so well in 2009 (and in particular, Teabaggers) in swing states where the Obama model of government has been destroyed for good and 2008 was just a freak anomaly and people hate government spending, somebody please explain to me how an African-American Democrat who ran as an environmentalist and light rail advocate won as mayor of Charlotte last week.
I'm all ears.

Didn't say we'd win every congressional district. If people got to thinking straight about economics a dem would never win another vote. Most Republicans even have alot to learn about economics.
If people got to thinking straight about economics, they would demand real regulation and oversight, and put somebody smarter than Congress in charge of it.
But you're right, both parties are guilty on that. Which is why the Republicans running on the economy in 2010 isn't such a hot idea.
