Jobapalooza

Only 36k jobs lost last month, unemployment rate remained at 9.7%.

U-6 number 16.8%, unadjusted 17.9%, so basically this was a holding pattern month.  Still, that means no recovery in sight.  The best the Senate could do was $15 billion for jobs, which is an order of magnitude too small (if not two).  Bush got us into this disaster, but Obama needs to be doing far, far more to get us out.

At what point to people stop blaming Bush? A true leader owns everything but Obama only seems to want to own successes not failures. I also believe it was the Republicans who noted Fannie/Freddie could cripple the Economy and nothing was done.

Also it was Clinton's administration who repeatedly nudged Lehman Bros to help people live the "American Dream" and lower their standards.

But who cares about details and facts

Bush bad!!!

Yeah, because the millions of jobs lost before Obama took office were clearly Clinton's fault. But who needs facts?

Democrats bad!
