What major manufacturing do we have left in the United States?We don't. The US has reached a critical collapse in manufacturing base. Those jobs aren't coming back, no matter what Obama or anyone does. They will be replaced by low-paying service jobs or temp jobs with little or no benefits.
No modern economy can survive without manufacturing, and in the last 30 years we've killed it.
