That -- along with a heavy dose of fear-mongering about President Barack Obama, sums up the Republican Party's strategy heading into the 2010 mid-term elections, according to documents obtained by Politico.
In a presentation delivered to donors and fundraisers in Florida on Feb. 18, RNC Finance Director Rob Bickhart made it clear what the 2010 race was going to be about for the GOP: Creating a caricature of President Obama and the Democrats meant to help the Republicans recoup their losses from the last two election cycles.
The GOP plan is Obama Derangement Syndrome.

Well that settled it for me, I wasn't sure if your infatuation with Obama was because you were liberal or black. Now I know.
However Dictionary.com defines Socialism as
1.
a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.

(in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
So we have the financial industry that the government has their hands in including almost total ownership of Lehman Bros, the auto industry since they have a majority of GM in their pocket and now they're going after the health industry. I think calling it a path to socialism if not communism is pretty much hitting the nail on the head. The health care bill is fail and is based off of 22% cuts to medicare payments which has been talked about since the first Bush, Clinton and now this president but NONE have ever went through with it. We'll see if by the end of the month those cuts go through. If they don't then the CBO should be required to re-score Obamas bill because it is based using those numbers. In fact all of the health care bills have been scored using those numbers, I guess if they follow suit and don't cut then the numbers would be a lie, and no politician would lie to get a bill passed would they!
