A conservative winning a House district that hasn't elected a Democrat since the Civil War, that conservative having 95% of his money coming from outside the district, is somehow proof that America is sick of the status quo in this country.
All this means is that the corporate assholes running the Teabaggers are willing to buy as many individual House elections as it takes to rid the country of actual thought.

See the U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 2: "No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty-five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen."
In other words, he just has to be an inhabitant of New York, not of the congressional district that he'd represent.
