CNN's latest poll has the Dems at +4 on the generic ballot. Gallup has the Republicans at +4. Remember, according to Nate Silver, that's literally the difference between the Dems losing only a dozen seats in the House (if CNN is right) and losing about 50 seats and control of the House is Gallup is right.
The question becomes "who is right?" (Hey if you're Rasmussen, the GOP already controls the House. I'm sure Speaker John Boehner is thrilled.)

The problem with polls is they only take into account peoples opinions right now, and it also depends on the type of people they are polling.
Well "like it or not" polls are used to show politicians how to vote and the mood of the country, etc. :-P Granted this group of politicians could care less that the American people want.
I have a feeling if I looked back through this blogs history there would be a Bush poll used quite frequently to point out his unpopularity, yet you don't really ever see it mentioned for Obama.
