The Newest Winger Outrage

The White House sent in hundreds of cleanup workers to be photo ops at the President's speech on Thursday!

Only it wasn't the White House...it was BP.
Officials from Jefferson Parish claim BP bused 400 cleanup workers into Grand Isle on Friday in time for a visit from President Barack Obama.

Jefferson Parish Councilman John Young said the workers were brought in to clean oil off Grand Isle's beaches.

The extra workers were brought in for Friday only, at a rate of $12 an hour, officials told WDSU. They were mostly from Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes.

Jefferson Parish Councilman Chris Roberts didn’t buy into the cleanup effort.

"They must think we're all fools," he said.Roberts called BP's efforts "shameful.""The level of cleanup and cooperation from BP in the last week in no way compares to the effort shown on the island today," Roberts said.

"This is a total shame that a mockery has been made of this visit by the executives of BP."
Now, how this ended up being the "White House" doing this I have no idea.   Oh wait, yes I do:  Wingers love their Obama Derangement Syndrome.  When it comes to facts, not so much....

Sorry Z, there's no conceivable way the White House wasn't fully briefed and every one of these workers was vetted because they were physically near the President. The additional security risk to the President meant that somebody in the White House approved this, and after all, the President was RIGHT THERE.

Blaming BP for this will not get you or Obama off the hook.

Try again. You LOSE.

Did the White House know BP was bringing in workers? Well yes...shouldn't they? I mean, we do have a massive mess in Louisiana right now.

Explain to me how BP's decision to send the workers home as soon as the President leaves is the White House's fault.

Go on. I'm listening.

By linking to “Nobody’s Minding The Store” you fail to acknowledge that the Leader of the Regime is performing an OpĂ©ra Comique replete with fire and blood and oil in the millions of gallons.

The point of reporting the fake clean-up workers provided by legitimate news outlets such as the New Orleans Times-Picayune and Yahoo! News was to demonstrate that Fearless Reader made an “appearance” to look as though he was doing something about the unfolding catastrophe forty days after it began.

I hardly think either news source falls into the category of “wingers”. Further, Rep. Charles Melancon’s (D-LA) broken-hearted pleas for help for his state and his people should not be trivialized by a jackass such as you.

Thanks for coming on down and proving my point perfectly.

And now you're getting your ass handed to you by better, smarter, bloggers, too...

Why do you insist on embarrassing yourself daily here? Don't you think it's a little past time to give up on this? You're just not very good at this...not good at all...
